Affiliates are **independent partners**. Participation in the program does not create any employment, agency, partnership, or legal representation relationship with Doothemes.
 
An affiliate is not an employee, agent, or representative of Doothemes, and has **no authority to act, negotiate, or make commitments on behalf of the company** under any circumstance.

## 2. Opinions and Statements Are the Affiliate's Own
 
Everything an affiliate says, writes, or publishes — reviews, videos, posts, tutorials, recommendations — represents **their own personal opinion**, not the official position of Doothemes.
 
Doothemes is **not responsible for promises, guarantees, offers, or claims made by affiliates**. The only valid information about our products, services, pricing, and policies is the one published through official Doothemes channels and documentation.

## 3. Legal Compliance Is the Affiliate's Responsibility
 
Each affiliate is solely responsible for complying with the laws and regulations of their jurisdiction, including but not limited to:
 
- **Affiliate disclosure requirements** — such as FTC guidelines in the United States and their equivalents elsewhere. You must disclose your affiliate relationship where the law requires it.
- **Anti-SPAM laws** — in addition to our own [Anti-SPAM Policy](https://doothemes.com/docs/affiliates/anti-spam-policy).
- **Data protection and privacy regulations.**
- **Advertising and consumer protection laws.**
Ignorance of the law does not transfer responsibility to Doothemes.

## 4. Taxes
 
Affiliates are **fully responsible for declaring and paying taxes** on their earnings according to the laws of their country or jurisdiction. This applies to all payout methods, including cryptocurrency payments (Bitcoin).
 
Doothemes does not withhold taxes, issue tax documents on your behalf, or provide tax advice.

## 5. Indemnification
 
If an affiliate's promotional activity causes damages, legal claims, or complaints from third parties, **the responsibility falls entirely on the affiliate**, not on Doothemes.
 
The affiliate agrees to indemnify and hold Doothemes harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from their conduct, their content, or their promotional methods.

## 6. No Income Guarantee
 
Commissions are **dynamic and depend entirely on performance**. Participation in the program does not guarantee earnings of any amount.
 
Any income figures, examples, or projections found in our documentation are illustrative only — they are not promises of results.

## 7. Right of Termination
 
Doothemes reserves the right to:
 
- **Terminate an affiliate's participation** in the program for violations of its policies — including, but not limited to, the [Anti-SPAM Policy](https://doothemes.com/docs/affiliates/anti-spam-policy), the program [Requirements](https://doothemes.com/docs/affiliates/requirements), and this disclaimer.
- **Modify or terminate the program** itself, with prior notice to affiliates.
Termination for policy violations may include the consequences described in the corresponding policy pages, such as forfeiture of funds and release of referred customers.
