# Program Modification & Termination > This policy establishes, without ambiguity, the rights that Doothemes reserves over the existence, rules, and continuity of the Affiliate Program. Our Position We are **loyal and fair as far as we are allowed to be**. We built this program to compensate our referrers as much as possible, and we honor that commitment every day. But let there be no doubt: **the Program belongs to Doothemes.** We reserve the entire right to dismiss any referrer, to modify the terms and policies of the Program, and, above all, to terminate the Program — **without prior notice**. --- ## 2. Right to Modify — Without Prior Notice 2.1. Doothemes may modify, at any time and **without prior notice**, any element of the Program, including but not limited to: - These policies and the [Terms & Conditions](https://doothemes.com/docs/affiliates/terms-conditions). - Commission rates, tiers, and the dynamic rate structure. - Validation periods, withdrawal thresholds, payment methods, and processing times. - Eligibility requirements and enrollment conditions. 2.2. Modifications take effect **from the moment of their publication** in the Program documentation. Continued participation after a modification constitutes acceptance of it. 2.3. Modifications are **not retroactive against paid commissions**: what was already paid, was well paid. Pending and future commissions are governed by the rules in force at the time of their approval and payment. 2.4. It is the affiliate's responsibility to review the Program documentation periodically. We may notify relevant changes as a courtesy — but courtesy is not obligation. --- ## 3. Right to Dismiss Any Affiliate 3.1. Doothemes reserves the **entire right to dismiss any referrer from the Program**, at any time, when it deems it necessary for the protection of its brand, its customers, its funds, or the integrity of the Program. 3.2. **We are severe with conduct that may affect our brand.** Terminations for policy violations — SPAM, fraud, tracking manipulation, brand abuse — carry the consequences already established: immediate termination, forfeiture of funds, and release of all referred customers, without warning and without appeal. 3.3. In dismissals **without cause** — that is, not motivated by a violation — Doothemes will honor every pending payment obligation with the affiliate before closing their account. --- ## 4. Right to Terminate the Program — Without Prior Notice 4.1. Doothemes may **terminate the Affiliate Program entirely, at any time and without prior notice**, for any reason: strategic, commercial, legal, or operational. No affiliate acquires a right to the perpetual existence of the Program. 4.2. Termination of the Program extinguishes all referral relationships and all future recurring commissions. Recurring commissions exist only while the Program exists. 4.3. **Our responsibility in a termination is clear and limited to this:** Doothemes will fulfill **all of its pending payment responsibilities to affiliates** — approved and unpaid commissions, and balances above the applicable thresholds — **provided the funds are available for it**. 4.4. Commissions still Pending at the moment of termination will complete their validation process; those that are approved will be included in the final settlement under the same condition of fund availability. --- ## 5. What We Will Never Do Firmness is not abuse. Even under this policy: - We will not retroactively take away commissions that were **validly paid**. - We will not use a modification to evade payment obligations **already accrued**. - We will not terminate affiliates without cause while withholding what is owed to them.
