# Movie page > The page of each movie: its backdrop and details, the rating, the buttons to watch, download and share it, the cast, the comments and the related titles. This page explains each part and where its data comes from. Source: https://doothemes.com/docs/wovie/pages/movie --- ## Overview Each movie of your catalog has its own page, built from the data Dbmovies imported. From top to bottom, it shows: 1. **The hero**: the backdrop, the poster and the details of the movie. 2. **The rating** and the genres. 3. **The synopsis**. 4. **The buttons**: Watch, Download, Trailer, Share, My list and Details. 5. **Persons**: the director and the cast. 6. **The comments**. 7. **More like this**: related titles. When a visitor opens a movie from a list, its poster appears right away, and the full-quality image replaces it as soon as it loads. [SCREENSHOT_HERE: A movie page of Wovie on a computer, with the backdrop, the poster, the details, the rating and the buttons] ## The hero - **The backdrop** changes every 9 seconds between the backdrops of the movie. The button in its corner shows the next one. It stops while the mouse is over it, and it does not change on its own when the visitor's device asks for reduced motion. - **The poster**, and **the logo of the movie** when it has one, or its title. - **The original title**, when it is different, and **the tagline**. - **The details**: year, runtime, countries, age rating, and the quality and language badges. Each country opens its page. ## The rating Visitors rate the movie with five stars, in half steps: half a star is 1 and five stars are 10. The circle shows the average rating and the number of votes, and **Your rating** shows the visitor's vote. Clicking again changes it. Visitors without an account can vote too. See [User ratings](https://doothemes.com/docs/dbmovies/modules/user-ratings) for who can vote and how the rating is calculated. Below the rating, each genre opens its page. ## The synopsis A long synopsis is cut after a few lines, with **Show more** to read the rest. **More details** opens the details of the movie. ## The buttons | Button | What it does | |---|---| | **Watch** | Opens the streaming links of the movie. See [Player and links](https://doothemes.com/docs/wovie/player) | | **Download** | Opens the download links. See [Player and links](https://doothemes.com/docs/wovie/player) | | **Trailer** | Plays the trailer of the movie, from YouTube. It only appears when the movie has one | | **Share** | Opens the share menu of the device, when the browser has one. Otherwise, it shows **Copy link**, WhatsApp, Telegram, X, Facebook and Email | | **My list** | Saves the movie to the visitor's list, and changes to **In list**. Visitors without an account go to **Sign in**, and come back to the movie after signing in | | **Details** | Opens the details of the movie | [SCREENSHOT_HERE: The buttons of a movie page, with My list changed to In list] ## Details **Details** opens a window with everything Dbmovies knows about the movie: - its ratings on your site, IMDb and TMDb, with links to the movie on IMDb and TMDb; - release date, runtime and age rating; - status (**Released** or **Upcoming**), quality and audio language; - views, original title and, when it applies, adult content; - director and countries; - when it was last updated. ## Below the hero ### Persons The director first, then the cast with the character each one plays. Each person opens their page. See [Person page](https://doothemes.com/docs/wovie/pages/person). ### Comments Members comment on the movie. See [Comments](https://doothemes.com/docs/wovie/pages/comments). ### More like this Titles related to the movie, with **Load more** to see more. Dbmovies chooses them: first the titles that TMDb recommends for this movie and that are on your site, then titles of the same genres. To change how many load at a time, see [Related content list](https://doothemes.com/docs/dbmovies/settings/core-modules#related-content-list) in the Dbmovies documentation. ## On phones - The poster heads the page, and the title appears over its lower part. - The buttons appear below the synopsis, and the player opens inside the page. See [Player and links](https://doothemes.com/docs/wovie/player). To change something, edit the movie in **Dbmovies › Movies**. See [Movies](https://doothemes.com/docs/dbmovies/post-types/movies). ## Troubleshooting | Problem | What to do | |---|---| | The Trailer button does not appear | The movie has no trailer.
